Pepper Spray

Question: Is there a safety mechanism to protect my toddlers from accidental exposure?

Answer: There is a safety mechanism, in that you have to move the spray lever from the left to the center for it to work. That being said, never leave self defence products in reach of children.

Question: If I test spray it will it lose its "charge" over a period of time?

Answer: Test spraying will not lower the power of the charge.

Question: Can I leave it in a hot car?

Answer: The pepper spray is encapsulated in a pressurized canister and leaving it in a hot car exposes the pepper spray to extreme heat, which is not advisable. That being said, you should carry the pepper spray on your person at all times.
